Re: Polysics Costume Help!

In the blog they said how special that festival was so I'm guessing they just wanted to do something different.

Very lovely though big_smile

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

"Hiro & Kayo are practicing to sing the new song "Rocket". "

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

You know, I just thought this today. If we could find a clear, black-tinted, paper thin plastic we could use it to make Polyvisor-ish things with some black rubberbands.

It would be crude, but effective. And I bet you could get that stuff at a craft store.

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

OMG!! I want to buy some of their merchandise but it sucks they dont sell overseas!!!!
Does anyone know where i could buy shirts or something and they sell overseas?!?!?!

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

nope, unfortunately you can only buy them at their shows, that's why i always spend way too much at the merch stand.
you might find odd thing on ebay but i doubt you'll find a t-shirt...

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

You can use Japanese shopping services where they buy it for you and ship it to you, but it's always like ... 12% percent more, it comes out to a bit pricey.

Aw man that blows :[
im just gonna have to go to one of their concerts [better be soon!] and buy everything i can get my hands onnnn big_smile

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

Man, I've heard a few live versions of Rocket already and Kayo and Fumi sound brutal, totally out of sync.

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

hi there FYE-POP, have you ever used one of these selling services, and could you recommend one? I've looked at a few and they all seem about the same. Apart from making the stuff myself, or praying to the gods of eBay this does seem like the only option.

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

Sorry, I have never actually used one before, but I know of a really good one that people I know have used before. I don't have the URL right now, but it is on my home computer and I will post it here later. :]

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

Well, there are sunglasses for people who are allergic to the sun, they resemble the Polysics glasses. I'm sure you can edit them pretty easily.
But I'm not sure if you can get them without a perscription or not.

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

So now we're (I'm) on the lookout for another orange jumpsuit. In the blog pictures they do look to be more of a rubbery texture. Although looking at NudeRonin's candid pics they look pretty much the same as before just maybe a bit thicker this time (silly Hiro!)

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

I was asking on another forum for help finding the new orange jumpsuit and they linked me to this page big_smile

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

I bought an orange jumpsuit to wear at the London gig but there was confusion with which size I wanted so it ended up arriving the day after the gig roll I would have been the only person dressed up though... that's only good in the fact that the band notice it.
I made a cardboard visor too which looks ok... just don't touch it. I'm waiting to make the badges for it because they might have a new style by the time they're back here big_smile

(this is all because my original Karate House style jumpsuit was ruined by somebody writing "otaku" across the chest at the Brighton gig in February...)

lol......"just dont touch it"  that really made me laugh...lol

Re: Polysics Costume Help!

I finally got round to uploading a picture of my aesthetically acceptable visor. It doesn't look that great close up. It's just a pair of 3D glasses covered with some black limo tint.
