By the way, not sure if these are known/posted somewhere but here are the lyrics for KI.KA.I.DA...possibly my favourite Polysics song these days. These were transcribed from the CD insert...Lyrics almost identical to the original version but new version is a bit shorter:

I got a metal body now! I got metal, red eyes
I got a metal body now! I got metal life life life
my arms are made of steel
I exchanged all of my parts
I got a metal body now! I got metal head head
I got a metal body now! I got metal heart heart heart
my arms are made of steel
I exchanged all of my parts
    freedom of choice
N.O.S.E,H.A.N.D,F.A.C.E,H.E.A.D,
K.N.E.E,F.O.O.T,F.I.N.G.E.R.DA---

I got a metal body now! I got metal, rolling eyes
I got a metal body now! I got metal hand hand hand
my arms are made of steel
I exchanged all of my parts
    freedom of choice

I have the CD, IAmSancho.
Overall a bit disappointed with this single. The DVD is another snippet mashup which is annoying.
Their re-interpretation of KI.KA.I.DA is horrible IMO...

Didn't think much of 'Everybody Say No' either but maybe it will grow on me - I do like the Vocoder too.

Wow...
7 copies on amazon for the low scalper price of 17,000 yen....bastards.

Edit: Referring to the limited limited edition obviously.

There will likely be a few copies showing up on Yahoo Auctions Japan after the release.
If the only extra thing in the Type A edition is pin badges, I think I'll settle for the Type B edition.

Ill wait though in case they show up again as I'm pretty sure that the Type B isn't going to sell out quickly.

Mistabeen were you actually able to place that pre-order because I just had a look on Amazon and all I can do is 'sign up' for notifications sad

Damn it I would hate to miss out on the super special edition!

A mildly amusing story that highlights the contrast between Three O Three O Man and Miss Donuts song.

I pulled up to some traffic lights a few months back while Three O Three O Man was playing and there was a local council workers truck next to me full of workers - they gave me the nod of approval, but what a different story it was when they caught me at the next set of traffic lights -_-

My favourite POLYSICS song changes almost every week, but my main-stays are most certainly 'WHICH!'  and  'T・RIANGLE'.

My least favourite is 'H MAJOR' from ENO - it just makes me angry.

I still stand defiant in my liking of 'My Way'.

I use Amazon.co.jp exclusively. I'm currently going through this list big_smile
I've got the first three albums listed there (the oldest!) so far.

It's usually the 3rd party shops advertising on Amazon that won't ship internationally. I'm lucky that I can just get things sent to relatives, but you can use a forwarding service such as Tenso and in the process, you might be able to dodge Amazon's shitty international postage fees.

Ugh....the first new post in a month and it's friggen spam.

Their single 'Rocket' also has karaoke version of 'Rocket' and 'Raw'.
When I was in Japan last I was very tempted to give POLYSICS a go but being from a western culture, I was too embarrassed to try it.

Aww that's cute that your daughter gets into them too big_smile I got a few kids my girlfriend and I babysit for to like them some and they're pretty cute about it. One of the kids really wants to be a rockstar, it's so adorable.

Kids are great - it's amazing the effect they have on you especially when they show interest in what you're up to.

It still breaks my heart when she asks me where Kayo is now.
"Papa..Kayo wa doko desu ka?"
":'("

1. To this day, the only great thing that has come from me browsing 4chan is that it introduced me to POLYSICS.
Some Anon just posted a random picture of them and I thought "lol..DEVO" - I was skeptical at first so did a search on Youtube which brings me to;

2. I, My, Me, Mine. The video (Strong machine version) more than the song was what I was hooked on. Then I grew to love the song and search for more.
I sorta go through phases now an I'm actually not too fussed on the song anymore; but whenever I introduce friends to them, I usually use this song/video smile

3. Probably COLON. I simply love his all-jibberish quirky lyrcis and I laugh at it every time. My daughter does the little dance that Fumi and Kayo do and yeah..she's a little POLYSICS fan now too.
I guess that's when I realised I have to go all out and buy everything.

Cool.

I guess I'll buy this just because despite our best efforts to record the stream, this is going to be way better quality smile

I guess that would depend on two things:

1. If you like GO!GO!7188 or;
2. How big of a POLYSICS fan you are big_smile

Personally I've been collecting all 'Various Artist' compilations in order as they are listed on POLYSICS' website.
So far I've only got Tokyo New Wave of New Wave '98 and the Lupin III remixes, but whenever a new one comes out, I'm just gonna grab it immediately.

Any of you got this yet?
I got my copy of it today and I gotta say, I'm digging the POLYSICS cover of 文具.

Hey guys,

Not sure if this has been discussed before but does anyone use Last.FM to scrobble their tracks?
Would be cool to get a little POLY-COMMUNITY going on there so we can see what else we're all guilty of listening to big_smile

I'll start

Has anyone noticed that there is a riff in Lets Daba Daba that sounds a lot like the one from Pseudo Echo's cover of Funky Town?

My fave YMO albums are BGM and After Service Live

Got mine earlier today.
Good album. I'm particularly fond of 'Heavy POLYSICK' [in fact I love most of POLYSICS' intro songs] and 'Cough Cough'. My favourite though is 'Jumping Up and Clash'.

Edit: Prayers go out for the people in Japan right now too - they've just been hit with a pretty big Earthquake.
