Recently I saw an article about Google endeavoring to develop stylish info glasses. Meanwhile, there are at least three (Lumus, Vusix, and Epson) active developers who are working towards full HD video experiences where you view movies through the glasses as if you're in a movie theater or  watching an 87 inch TV.

Since November of 2011 Epson has been marketing "Moverio" glasses in Japan.

The thing is, when I look at some of the Moverio publicity photos, I can't help but wonder:

1) Did they approach Polysics for an endorsement and get turned down?

Or

2) Did Epson decide to market these things with "semi" Poly-pics to avoid paying endorsement fees

-The hair and the product design in the image found on the web page above strongly suggests Kayo to me - but obviously not officially otherwise they'd be making the point stronger (in my opinion)

I'm always the last to hear about stuff, so maybe these images and this subject have already been discussed ad nauseam somewhere.  And I don't have boots on the ground in Japan, so I can't report on any local commentary or possible editorial remarks acknowledging the similarity between Poly-band members (and x-members) and Epson marketing materials.

Just yesterday in the mail, I got the Coelakanth is Android single for seven bucks. I am quite pleased!! I think I have twenty Polysics CDs now.

An autographed copy of NEU, and the American version by the looks of it, since it has the Black Out Fall Out track on it and it doesn't include the sticker of a sweater like the Japanese version does. I would totally go for this, since Hiro signed it, but it's addressed to someone so that turns me off of it.

I find more and more interesting information. For example, I had no idea that there are in fact TWO versions of the Absolute Polysics Book: the Tower Records version (cover features a large "P") and the Budokan version which can be viewed on this page:

As rare as the Tower Records version is, there are only 1000 copies of the Budokan version out there (which was sold only at the concert on March 14, 2010)

I'm not sure if it existed as an EP, but I have the remixes for Coelakanth Is Android, Walky Talky and Jhout, but I've never heard of the other three.

They released "Polysics or Die!!!! Vista" on October 9, 2007 to celebrate their 10th anniversary...right?

Budokan took place on March 14, 2010 and was called their "10th anniversary concert" (??) [aka Kayo Graduation] - and I believe somewhere in the course of things Hiyashi thanked Kayo for "12 years" (???)

Then, this year, this month, they played their "15th anniversary" concert at Shibuya AX (???)

How can you go from the "10th anniversary" to the "15th anniversary" in two years??

Anybody able to fill in the blanks...straighten the lines?

I did refer to the Wikipedia article, but the documentation is very thin, particularly in the area of specific dates as to what took place when, who joined, left / graduated, etc.

Thanks for any information anyone might be able to provide.

I thought it could be fun if we'd play a game on the board here. This way we keep the board active with some polysics related games.

The goal is to guess the name of the song depicted. The way it is played is by trying to depict a polysics song by using pictures , a picture collage or manipulation.
You could for example post a picture of a coelakanth and an android phone to depict Coelakanth is android. Not all the songnames are as well known, but the lyrics could be. So you could always try to depict a part of the lyrics.

The person who is the first to correctly guess the name of the song has to post the next riddle.

Long story short, the web hosting Davy had ran out and we couldn't pay for another year, so there it went.

But, I am going to try to get some hosting space off my brother, or at least try to, so NBB is not dead!!

In the meantime, I am starting a NBB Tumblr account, mostly for fun but to also get back into the habit of posting about Polysics a lot.

Which brings me to an apology about how NBB hadn't been updated in a long time prior to the hosting problem. Ever since NBB became a .com, it felt like I had a bigger goal to go for and I lost sight of what I wanted to do: post about Polysics for fans by a fan. I don't care about website hits, making things sound professional or anything like that. I'm a Polysics fan and I want to talk about them. So I'm gonna try to go back to my roots, get in touch with my inner Polysick that had been squashed for some time, and remember what I love about this band.
